* $ 25.00 per calf entry, $10.00 showmanship entry (ages 8 to 21 and a member of JFCA).
* Entries must be postmarked by July 17, 2010 to avoid $ 10.00 late fee per animal.
* Attach copies of registration papers from breed association for purebred animal. If there are enough registered animals there will be a breed show otherwise they will show in commercial.
* Registration must be in the name of exhibitor prior to July 25, 2010.
* Heifers and Bulls must be less than 24 months of age as of July 25, 2010
* Bulls must be registered.

Junior Cattlemen’s Dues must be paid or included with entry. Only Fla. Junior Cattlemen members are allowed to show.

Motel accomodations for the JFCA show

The group rate is $45 plus $8 resort fee & tax per room, per night. (Waterpark admission is included.) The rate will be offered based upon availability. In order to receive the group rate, guest must make their reservations on or before July 24, 2010. The group rate will be valid August 5-8, 2010.

OPEN YOUTH BEEF SHOW - HEIFERS, STEERS, BULLS
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2010
SCHEDULE:
Arrival Time: 7:00am-9:00am
We will make every effort to begin our show at 10:00am, but this may be delayed depending on the number of calves
entered and needing to be weighed. Heifers will be shown first followed by Showmanship, Steers then Bulls. At
some point there will be a 30 minute break for lunch and we announce when this will occur at the show.

Class List: Steers, Heifers and Bulls must not be over 24 months old and will be shown by weight. Bulls over 12 months old must have nose ring.

Entry is 25$ per head and 10$ for showmanship. Make checks payable to the Hernando County Jr. Cattlemen's Association.
Entry deadline is Oct. 15, 2010. There will be a 5.00$ late fee per head of cattle entered after Oct. 15th.

And Heifer Classic

January 14 & 15, 2011
Kissimmee Valley Livestock Arena

UPDATE: Steers entered in this show must have an EID bolus inserted
(electronic identification). Show locations to be released soon (one is
August, September and October). There will be a $15.00 fine for the bolus
to be paid when the steer is identified. This will complete the entry. The
same steer entered at the initial entry/bolus must be the steer shown at the
Florida Fat Steer Show in January, and will be verified by the EID. If you
have any questions concerning the bolus, please call any time.



This is a steer show open to all exhibitors ages 8-21.
(Steers will not need to be sold or slaughtered, but will be judging as terminal steers)

Entry: $100.00 per head by July 30, 2010.
Late entries accepted by August 27, 2010 with an additional
fee of $50.00 per exhibitor.

Grand Champion Steer - $3,500.00
Reserve Champion Steer - 2,500.00
*Top 5 steers overall with receive cash prizes.

Top 3 in each showmanship division win Belt Buckles and cash prizes!

Prospect Heifer Show Entry Fee: $25 1st heifer, $15 for each additional
